Rock band led by singer Chris Daughtry concluded their Adrenaline Gone Ballistic Tour last Sunday at Green Bay Epic Events Center. The venue was buzzing in excitement as dedicated fans of the band and singer waited for the performance, with the venue being more packed than I have ever seen, a testament to Daughtry's enduring popularity and the impact they have had on the rock music scene since their debut in 2006, which reached number one on the Billboard 200.

After emerging from the American Idol stage victorious in 2006, the band formed, quickly establishing themselves as a power in the rock genre. Over the years they have released several successful albums, with them even receiving a Grammy nomination for the ""Best Rock Album" on their album also dubbed Daughtry back in 2008.

Their setlist covered many fan favorites, but their most notable song was their hit song "Home," which received another nomination for being "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals," and the popularity of this song was evident with the loud and excited singing from the crowd who seemed to know every word, (After Chris Daughtry established the lyrics were in face "I'm going home", instead of "I'm coming home."

In addition to Home, their setlist ran as such:

The Reckoning

Changes Are Coming

World on Fire

Shock to the System

Crashed

Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)

Home

September

Pieces

Nervous

It's Not Over

Over You

Heavy Is the Crown

Encore:

The Dam

Artificial

During this thirteen-show tour, Daughtry was joined by Sleep Theory and Devour the Day, mixing soft acoustic rock melodies and hard metal, making the show a little bit for everyone. Both openers seemed well enjoyed by the audience, with many in the front singing along. After about an hour and a half or so of openers, Devour the Day tossed their setlists into the crowd, threw a few pics, and the anticipation grew, and you could tell the Daughtry fans were growing antsy. After the wait, Daughtry walked onto the stage, and screams of enthusiastic fans filled the venue.

As someone who really only knew a few songs, I was thoroughly impressed by the thrill the fans had and couldn't help but feel the energy in the venue. The band kicked off their set with high energy, engaging the crowd from the start before going to a more melodic acoustic portion of the show and then going straight back into the energy. Daughtry's performance was powerful and captivating, leaving even casual listeners like myself thoroughly entertained and wanting more.

Their music has resonated with fans worldwide, leading to sold-out tours and a dedicated fan base. Daughtry continues to evolve their sound while staying true to their rock roots, solidifying their status as one of the most influential bands in the industry.

Although their tour did conclude at this performance, future spring events can be found on their website, along with streaming, and merch. Stay updated on their upcoming events and releases by following them on social media as well. Don't miss out on the chance to experience their music live in the future!
