Copper Box Band Play Fallooza 2024, "A two-day festival benefitting mental health and addiction recovery."

September is is National Suicide Prevention Month and Plymouth's Fallooza really showed their support. For two days, downtown Plymouth was filled with street vendors, music, and nonprofits all working towards the same thing, raising money for recovery resources. Among these musicians, Copper Box Band led the lineup on September 13th, (what a way to celebrate Friday the 13th!), at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds for the second time after playing during the county fair a month prior.

The band started in 2002 by husband and wife Danny Jerabek & Michelle LL (Jerabek) and are now playing around Wisconsin with their most recent awards being Americana Artist of the Year 2023 (WAMI), nominated for Reed Player of the Year 2023 (Michelle LL Jerabek) (WAMI) and nominated for Percussion Player of the Year 2023 (Dan Cable) (WAMI) to name a few.

With Copper Box's motto being, "Unique, Musical, Engaging & Fun!” it's no surprise their concerts are fun for everyone who goes. The concert kicks off with an impressive display of instrument changes from tuba to accordion with the lead singer Michelle LL showing off her strong vocals while also playing guitar and moving to saxophone farther down the set list. One moment the band is playing popular rock tunes and the next their switching to a lively polka which creates an atmosphere that appeals to all ages.

Little kids are seen dancing and clapping along, captivated by the energetic performance. Meanwhile older attendees can be seen with the same level of energy, dancing along to the music and clapping. The band's ability to connect with such a diverse audience is incredibly fun to see.
