Everclear At EPIC Event Center
February 6, 2026
Green Bay, Wisconsin

Last Friday, alternative rock veterans Everclear delivered a strong set that proved after three decades, the band still has what it takes to pack a venue with raw emotion and guitars. The crowd, which consisted of both the veteran fan base and younger music fans gracious enough to expose their music to a live performance, packed the Green Bay venue with visible energy as the band stormed their way through a generous 16-song set.
30+ Years of Alt-Rock Legacy
Everclear, a rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1992, gained quick acclaim as one of the defining voices in ’90s alternative rock. Headed by guitarist and frontman Art Alexakis, the band has since had 11 releases and sold millions of records to their name, with huge radio staples such as Santa Monica, Father of Mine, Wonderful, and I Will Buy You a New Life forming the bedrock of their legacy.
The present tour is an extension of Sparkle and Fade Tour 2026, marking the platinum achievement of their 1995 breakthrough record “Sparkle and Fade,” as well as subsequent deeper cuts and later singles. There may be a touch of nostalgia seeing this event billed as an anniversary tour, but at EPIC, Everclear managed to strike a balance of looking back while looking forward to why their songs continue to hold up today.

The Show Itself
The band took the stage after local Appleton band, The Wannabes, made their appearance. Opening with the hammering chords of So Much for the Afterglow, the band immediately set a high-energy tone. From there, the set moved fluidly through fan favorites and deep cuts alike. The setlist of the night included:
So Much for the Afterglow
Everything to Everyone
Father of Mine
Heroin Girl
Pale Green Stars
Heartspark Dollarsign
Nervous & Weird
Amphetamine
El distorto de melodica
AM Radio
Strawberry
Local God
Wonderful
I Will Buy You a New Life
The Boys Are Back in Town
(Thin Lizzy cover)
Santa Monica
From a musical perspective, the band was tight and sounding very confident throughout the night, with Alexakis’ vocals being gritty and sincere, aided by guitarist Davey French, bassist Freddy Herrera, and drummer Brian Nolan.
Visually, the production took a moody but simplistic lighting approach that fit the gritty alt-rock aesthetic that Everclear had established over the years.

Following Up
This stop is part of the expanded Sparkle and Fade Tour, which continues well into the year 2026 and other stops within the States, such as Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. And if fans look ahead to upcoming shows on the tour, they’ll be able to anticipate the same mix of musical favorites and strategic setlists that walk the line between their ’90s beginnings and their latest work without sacrificing the emotional content that’s endeared Everclear as staples in alternative rock music on the radio. Regardless of whether you were there for their popular songs or to experience something new in their collective history, the night was defined by one certainty: Everclear still rocks.
