Coming from LA, glitch-punk inspired band, Rinse & Repeat performs at Milwaukee Vivarium
Opening for "Slater," the band, "Rinse & Repeat," performed a half-hour or so set-list. The band, labeled as Alternative/Indie, Dance/Electronic, had an incredibly unique set-list, mixing high energy almost techno like music with slower more melodic songs. Their tour started in Las Vegas Nevada, with Rinse & Repeat's Milwaukee show cutting the tour in the middle before they ended in Austin Texas.

One of the most notable parts of Rinse & Repeat's performance was their sense of authenticity. Looking through their Instagram, even as they've grown in popularity, their image remains nearly the same as it did in 2017, offering a more alternative-punk feel that defines the band. With that aesthetic, in addition to the more cyber look they put out, it's no wonder the people who connect with this band seem no less than obsessed.

A part of their live performance that I noticed was the amount of sound effects they used; it left me wondering if it was due to the number of band members (being only three) or to follow their more cyber and. Regardless, it was almost unnoticeable and just added to the performance. I also noticed that the band, whether intentional or not, did very little talking, and left me hoping for a little more background or crowd interaction. To supplement that, though, lead singer Aaron Jones jumped into the crowd, (After dancing across the stage), as guitarist and backup singer, Riley Greer continued the song; unfortunately not pictured but you can imagine it, (or search for it on Instagram)
Regardless of your music taste, you could tell this band found their shtick and stuck with it, embodying the most techno-punk vibes you could probably imagine. Their lively performances and unique sound have established a notable fanbase that continues to grow as they tease future music. Their fusion of electronic and punk elements creates a dynamic listening experience that sets them apart from other bands in the genre.
