The Warped Band Plays At Vivarium, Giving Us The Best 2000's Throwbacks

Last Saturday, (1/18/25), The Warped Band played for fans at Vivarium in Milwaukee. The band, which is the only one to be approved by Kevin Lyman himself (American event manager and Vans Warped Tour Founder). Aims on encompassing the spirit of the iconic Warped Tour, covering many of the bands that have played there previously, including Blink-182, Panic! At The Disco, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum 41, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and more.

A noticeably unique part about this band is the ability for fans to vote on the songs The Warped Band covers at their show. This keeps the lineup fresh for returning fans and makes sure the new fans all get to hear something they know and love. This interactive element adds an exciting element to their live, unpredictable performances, creating a more engaging experience for fans and concertgoers. It also allows The Warped Band to connect with their audience, encouraging a sense of community among fans.

As someone who has, (unfortunately) never been to a Warped Tour, I wasn't really sure what to expect with this band. What I do know is the bands that they were covering, and I was undoubtedly impressed by the performance, especially with the vocals, which were right up to par with the real deal. The energy and passion they brought to the stage truly made me feel like I was experiencing the original bands live even in the smaller venue, with witty remarks and banter engaging the fans as the went through their through setlist.

Although there are plans for an upcoming 30th anniversary rerun of The Warped Tour, the event is planned for only three two-day festivals, making The Warped Band a great opportunity to enjoy some of the iconic lineup all in one event, without traveling across the country, especially with the many tour dates they have posted all over.
