On Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, American metalcore band Currents, British rock band Caskets, and Swedish metalcore band Aviana accompanied Erra, an American progressive metal band on their, “Silence That Follows,” tour which is sure to be a tour to remember. Confidently, I can say It was my favorite show of the year so far, every band did an amazing job.

Aviana opened the show with aggression; pummeling basslines and destruction breakdowns that created a sea of movement in the Intersection showroom floor. For being the opener, they had incredible energy; bodies were being flung back and forth in the pit. Then the drummer parted his hands and the crowd knew what to do—the crowd parted the pit and clashed into each other in an unforgettable wall of death.
Caskets is a band that has been on my radar for quite some time. They put on a great show. Though not as heavy as the aforementioned band, they still delivered with stark, catchy melodies and soaring choruses which are fun to sing along too. It was a beautiful moment seeing some of the Caskets fans riding the rail, arms outstretched, singing the beautiful songs that the band has written. I even met with their guitarist Benji after their set (he was hanging at the merch table) and he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve met.

Currents came after Caskets and their energy was infectious. Quite heavier than the previous band, their wall of sound punches you right in the gut. Some of the first crowd surfers of the night also cascaded over the barricade during their set. They are a tight band from start to finish. From the opening track “So Alone” to the closing track “It Only Gets Darker” this band delivered the chaos and the cacophony of sound metalheads love.
Erra headlined this tour package. The tour is a coheadliner so some dates Currents headlined, and some dates Erra headlined, and this time it was Erra’s turn and they didn’t disappoint. One of the best metalcore bands working today, they brought a mixture of catchy, pop melodies and choruses with an amount of anger and aggression that was pleasant to see.

The crowd went wild singing the songs of this band. Crowd surfers came down in waves and as I stood there in the photo pit clutching my camera, I had to keep an eye out so I didn't get hit by any surfers. It was okay though; security was on it. Security at the Intersection is some of the best. This band put on a headliner worthy
performance and I am excited to see them again
